In the “Leading and Managing Teams for High Performance” course, you will learn breakthrough tools and techniques to design, motivate, and lead teams. In the module "Goal Setting" students learn how to optimally identify and set team goals. In the module "Size and Diversity" students learn how to best select and recruit team members to maximize group performance. In the module "Roles and Rules" students learn how to set the stage for high performance in their team meetings. In the module "Evidence Based Management" students learn how to collect and integrate data to optimize decisions. In the module "Optimizing Conflict" students learn how to identify healthy versus destructive team conflict and how to set the stage for productive disagreement. In the module "Virtual Teams" the challenges of distance-teamwork are addressed through specific best practices. In the module "Creativity and Innovation" students learn techniques to increase team creativity and innovation. In the module "Who's More Creative, Groups or Individuals" students learn whether teams or individuals are more creative and how to best set the stage for productive team and individual performance. In the module "Best Practices for Creativity" specific strategies for dramatically improving the quantity and quality of ideas are introduced.
