During the Urethral Catheterisation/Catheter Care students will receive theoretical and practical training using anatomically correct mannequins. Thanks to our teaching methodology, students will build confidence before they are required to conduct the procedure in their workplace with service users.
At the end of the course, nurses will need to show that they have completed a course workbook and there will be a competency check within their own workplace, done by a Doctor or a Nurse who is already competent at Catheterisation.

Upon completion of this course, delegates will have the skills, knowledge and confidence to carry out Urethral Catheterisation of service users.
Registered Nurses needing to carry out Urethral Catheterisation at work.
This catheterisation course will not only teach you about the equipment, preparations and procedures but will also explain post catheterisation care and how to solve potential problems.
This course is between 3 and 6 hours.
