Course Content

You will receive advice and guidance from a personal tutor to progress along the appropriate pathway for your career choice, 100 hours work placement, and subject to Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) clearance. The course consists of academic work within the college and practical work within the vocational industry and subject to CRB clearance

Entry Requirements

Minimum of 4 GCSEs A*-C including English, Science or Maths plus one other academic subject, Or BTEC First Diploma at Merit or above and GCSE at grade C in English/level1 Functional Skill in English

Although students wishing to progress through the levels may attain the correct entry criteria, all students will have an interview and an initial assessment. This will identify the level appropriate for the learner, focusing on attendance, attitude and ability to meet deadlines to determine the possibilities for progression
