Course Description:
This 5 week evening course will give you a basic overview of Litho printing and how to operate Litho printing equipment. You will produce a variety of printed material on a; 1 col proofing press, 2 col Quickmaster, & 5 col Heidelberg Speedmaster.

Description Breakdown:
Each week you will work on different litho presses, making plates using computer to plate, making ready the machines for printing, setting feed/delivery, fault finding whilst running a job, maintaining ink and paper levels, printing and creating a finished job, you will start by working on a single colour job on the proofing press, then work on a 2 colour job, moving to a 4 colour and finally progressing to 5 colour work on the Heidelberg Speedmaster. You will develop your understanding of how to operate litho equipment and associated technologies
