Students are expected to actively participate in the frequent role-plays and simulations, using professional materials and ELSL resources, which are provided to extend important language skills. Details of Course
The course structure is designed to enable students to extend their English language and communication skills in a legal context. The purpose of the course is to concentrate on developing communication techniques, both spoken and written.Students will cover the following:
- Student presentation of his/her job, organisation, and services.
- Role-playing scenarios of conferences, meetings and negotiations.
- Analyse and discuss case studies.
- Opinion-writing, e-mail and formal letters for legal professionals.
- Making a presentation on a legal topic of your choice.
Practical participation in the activities created for this course, ensures that essential communication skills are developed. Students will gain greater confidence, by nurturing effective communication skills and strategies for dealing with meetings, negotiations and discussions. The course covers:
