Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment - Distance Learning

The CSCS Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Level 1 qualification is aimed at learners who currently work, or want to work, in construction. Successful completion of this qualification will enable learners to apply for the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Green Card* which allows access to construction sites in the UK as a non-skilled worker. Unlike the Site Safety Plus you do not have to resit this after 5 years. From the 1st July 2014 those who need a CSCS Full 5 year Green Card can obtain one by completing* this qualification. This includes those entering the construction industry plus those who are renewing their card. A temporary 6 month Green Card is available but it can only be applied for once, after the 6 months has elapsed a Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification will be required to apply for the full 5 year card.
