The VRQ (vocationally related qualification) focusses on the practical aspects of Engineering. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.
You will also study units of an NVQ Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations at an appropriate level. Alongside this course you will also study the Welsh Baccalaureate: level 1 Skills for Work and Life, Essential Skills Wales at level 1 or higher in communications and Application of Number.
You will require 3 GCSEs at grades A*- E or Entry Level 3 Literacy and Numeracy and a Foundation Level qualification.
