STRUCTURE OF AWARD

(This framework has a total of six routes)
(1) Front Office
(2) Housekeeping
(3) Food and Drink Service
(4) Quick Service
(5) Food Preparation and Cooking
(6) Multi-skilled

To achieve a full certificate in Hospitality:
Front Office, Housekeeping and Food and Drink Service Candidates are required to complete 6 units in total (2 mandatory units plus 4 optional units)

To achieve a full certificate in Hospitality Quick Service, Food Preparation and Cooking or Multi-skilled Candidates are required to complete 7 units in total (2 mandatory units plus 5 optional units).

A NVQ Level 1 takes approximately 6 months to 1 year to complete.
