  • Truly since the start of my instruction I have had a staggeringly cherish despise association with all my past art instructors. These mentors are liberal and more than willing to urge you to take after a way they themselves did not, without putting down or alienating you. I was permitted to develop normally, the incidental nudge to make them move in the correct bearing, that is the thing that coaches are for. I perfectly got acclaimed from the general population you regard, so thank you for everything.

  • OCAD has enabled me to freely learn as a developed understudy around a bustling working timetable. It has been the ideal setup for me, with snappy, informative and accommodating reactions to my work from coaches, enabling me to accomplish a refinement in my establishment course and go to my preferred college. Without this helpful and available online experience I could never have possessed the capacity to begin this new part. I profoundly prescribe OCAD for an in-depth, easy to use and obliging course for those wishing to learn from home.

About this course

Equally valuable, graduates achieve a specialist portfolio that expresses their personal brand of art and design, enabling access to top universities and employment as a professional qualified Artist or Designer.

The main reason students choose Level 2 certificate over IGCSE is because it is far less problematic to deliver online as there is no exam to attend. Instead, coursework is assessed online by the exam board examiner. This means the course is ideal for students who suffer from exam stress and for those who don't work well under pressure. An additional benefit is you save the £40 - £250 that the IGCSE exam can cost. However, you must be 16 years old at the time of completing the course - (you can be 14 at the start of the course though).

How It Works

Students receive access to their own online studio where they can work through their course. Units and assignments are listed along with supporting resources, video tutorials for skills development, step by step guides etc. Photographs of students' completed work are uploaded to their college e portfolio for assessment and constructive, friendly written feedback on how to progress. Additionally students are invited to discuss with an experienced and qualified personal tutor their progress and receive face to face verbal feedback, encouragement and support. Students may also benefit from relationships with their fellow online students as they can view profiles and comment on each others' art work if they wish.
