This course is designed to inform learners of how to comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002. The course will enable learners to gain an understanding of hazardous substances within the health and social care environment and knowledge of how these substances can be safely and effectively controlled.
Learners will be taught the principles and methodology of risk assessment and their practical application to processes involving potential exposure to chemicals and other hazardous substances. They will also be informed of what specialist support is needed.
