Level 2 Diploma in Complementary Therapies Entry Requirements

• A range of GCSEs at C or above including English and preferably Maths and Science or equivalent OR
• An NVQ Level 1 in Beauty Therapy with a satisfactory reference and equivalent literacy and preferably numeracy.
• Entry is subject to a successful interview and diagnostic test. You will need to buy a salon uniform and equipment

Content You will develop a variety of skills including aromatherapy, Basic reflexology, Basic Massage, knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology for Complementary Therapies, Healthy Eating, Business awareness and Health and Safety. You may also have the opportunity to take additional qualifications. Assessment
Continual assessment through a combination of practical salon sessions, end tests, oral questions, assignments and a portfolio of evidence.

Work Experience
Students develop their skills in the salons on campus and in local salons.
