Developing practical design skills and emphasising the fundamental principles of floristry and retailing, this course is an ideal stepping stone to more advanced qualifications. Ideal for budding florists of any age, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to cope with the day-to-day responsibilities involved in a floristry shop. Within this course you will also benefit from a minimum of five days work experience in a floristry shop. This exposure to real-life situations will enhance your learning and enable you to understand the different situations a florist encounters.

Students need to have a willingness to learn and an aptitude for coursework. Although no previous floristry experience is required, students should have a genuine interest and commitment to pursue a career in floristry.
