Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations - Work Based

Candidates will be assessed in the work place, and build a portfolio of evidence. They will be required to complete 2 mandatory assessment routes: -Complying with statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements And -Promoting effective working relationships OR Contributing to effective team working. Followed by four additional routes from a range of options which include: -Transferring materials -Concluding manufacturing operations -Recording and reporting inspection and test results -Producing products by assembly operations -Making products using computer controlled equipment It is anticipated that it will take a year to complete the qualification. There is also an option to complete the Performing Manufacturing Operations Level 2 qualification as a fully work based Apprenticeship.Once you have enrolled onto the programme you will be assigned an assessor that will visit you in the workplace regularly. They will complete assessment plans and reviews with you to keep you on target. They will support you in the collection of the required evidence needed for your qualification through different assessment methods such as; professional discussion, observations, written questions, verbal questions, witness statements and any assignments.
