You will have an interview to assess your capabilities, and ensure your success on the course. The course is based on practical tasks and underpinning knowledge, you will not be required to attend college. Evidence must be generated in the workplace to the standards required by the awarding body. Assessments will be carried out on each activity, and under guidance from the assessor you will produce a portfolio of evidence. Candidates will be assessed in the workplace, and produce a portfolio of evidence. A team of dedicated assessors will visit students in the workplace to ascertain technical and occupational competence in Performing Manufacturing Operations. This is an assessed qualification only and, therefore, no skills will be taught.Once you have enrolled onto the programme you will be assigned an assessor that will visit you in the workplace regularly. They will complete assessment plans and reviews with you to keep you on target. They will support you in the collection of the required evidence needed for your qualification through different assessment methods such as; professional discussion, observations, written questions, verbal questions, witness statements and any assignments.
