This course further develops the skills required to work as a professional chef, complemented with the customer service skills required to work within a professional restaurant.

You will benefit from a variety of activities designed to bring out the best of your potential, and enable you to use your skills and knowledge to progress to a Level 3 Hospitality and Catering qualification. Within this programme you will also study the Welsh Baccalaureate and Essential Skills Wales.

You will require 4 GCSEs at grades A*- D including English and Maths or a Level 1 sector skills course qualification including Essential Skills Communication and Application of Number at Level 1, or extensive experience.

You will be invited to attend an interview. During this interview you will undertake an assessment in literacy and numeracy to establish any support required and carry out a course presentation. You will be required to have the relevant uniform and equipment, a full uniform list will be provided.
