Level 2 Recognise and Respond to Abuse and Neglect

This course is suitable for all individuals new to working in the social care environment and who are required to meet the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards (CIS) within the first twelve weeks of commencing work.

• The relevant legislation and associated organisational policies and procedures
• Definitions of abuse and neglect and the related signs of abuse and neglect taking place
• Types and forms of abuse and neglect
• Reporting and overcoming abuse and neglect
