Level 2 Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry with Physical Intervention Course is a nationally recognised qualification by SIA. Successful completion of this course enables a door supervisor to meet one of the requirements to apply for their licence. In order to obtain an SIA licence you will need to show that you are trained to the right level and you have relevant qualifications. To get door supervision licence you will need to attend a four part training course and pass four exams.We run this course every week and at the end of the course, there will be an examination. Unit 2- Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry
Chapter 1: Understand the role and objectives of a door supervisor.
Chapter 2: Understand civil and criminal law relevant to a door supervisor.
Chapter 3: Understand searching relevant to a door supervisor.
Chapter 4: Understand powers of arrest relevant to a door supervisor.
Chapter 5: Understand drug-misuse issues and procedures relevant to the role of a door supervisor.
Chapter 6: Understand incident recording and crime scene preservation relevant to the role of a door supervisor
Chapter 7: Understand licensing law and social responsibility relevant to the role of a door supervisor.

Unit 4 – Physical Intervention Skills within the Private Security Industry
Chapter 1: Understand physical interventions and the implications of their use
Chapter 2: Understand how to reduce the risk of harm when physical intervention skills are used
Chapter 3: Be able to use non-aggressive physical skills to protect yourself and others
Chapter 4: Be able to use non-pain related standing, holding and escorting techniques, including non-restrictive and restrictive skills
Chapter 5: Understand good practice to follow after physical interventions
Course Assessment:
On the final day of the course there will be a multiple choice exam and a practical assessment. We understand that examinations can be daunting prospect but we assure you there is no need to worry. Everything you need to know for the examination is covered in the Door Supervisors course and your expert instructor will fully prepare you for success in the tests.
