Level 2 VTCT (VRQ) Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques

Subjects Covered You will study the following: Make-up application and make-up instruction Lash and brow treatments, Manicure and pedicure, Facial skin care, waxing techniques Anatomy & physiology Health & safety Salon reception duties and teamwork Functional skills and work skills are also an integral part of this course. Assessments in all units are undertaken in College, and are a mixture of theory and practical work. Students will be expected to do assignments/tasks, oral questions and written papers to support each area of learning. This will be proof that students have mastered a particular aspect of the trade. Practical skills will be developed along with individual/group work, research and case studies. A high level of attendance is essential in order to succeed. On Completion Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or employment within the Beauty Therapy Industry.
