You will work towards a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care. This is a job-ready qualification which requires the student to demonstrate in the workplace the skills and knowledge required for the care industry. Along with this you will also complete a Level 3 Technical Certificate in Health and Social Care. This would confirm the knowledge component of the Apprenticeship. Functional Skills at Level 2 will also be completed.

Course programme

This programme is for learners who are employed within the Health and Social Care sector. The Apprenticeships blends real work and learning, enabling you to develop your career, achieve nationally recognised qualifications and earn a wage.
On successful completion of this programme you will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, a Level 2 Technical Certificate and Functional Skills. You will also complete Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
You will learn through a mix of work-related activities and independent study and research. Assessment is on a continuous basis with a number of assessments in each module. Assessments take a variety of forms, such as written reports, witness statements, observations and professional discussions.
