Distance Learning / Online or Classroom Course

Level 3: Award in Assessing Vocational Related Achievement course is for you if you work in, or look to enter roles in assessment and internal quality assurance. The course will provide you with the opportunity to develop and improve your practice, as well as achieving a recognised qualification at the same time in becoming a qualified assessor. It has been developed by LLUK to replace the Assessor and Verifier (A&V) units and is valid if you want to work in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

About this course

This TAQA qualification will train assessors and those individuals that need to carry out assessment in the classroom or work environment. This course is suited to individuals that support learners through assessment & training. This qualification is suitable for industry sectors such as Hairdressing, Beauty Industry & Make Up, Construction, Early years, Health & Social Care and Educational Sectors. On successful achievement of the course, candidates are awarded a nationally accredited qualification enabling them to carry out assessments in the workplace & assessments for vocational programmes in colleges and schools.

Who are planning of becoming a qualified assessor.

There are no formal requirements for this course, however, candidates should be working in or working towards a role in quality assurance. The theory based qualifications provide a good base for those candidates who are trying to enter into quality assurance roles. To undertake the full Award candidates are required to have access to two learners.
