Principles of exercise, fitness and health. Principles and Fundamentals of Mat Pilates: including pre-Pilates exercises , beginnings and endings. Plan and prepare to instruct a progressive mat Pilates session: including classical exercises, power circles, small weights, accessories. Instruct, Manage, Adapt and Evaluate a mat Pilates session: Suitable for: Becoming a Classical Pilates Teacher is an ideal to compliment to fitness and dance exercise qualifications as it can help prevent injury to you as a teacher, provide variety for your classes and build towards a longer career in the Fitness Industry which sometimes can be shortened by injury. The Classical Pilates method has long been associated with elite athletes and dancers so why not build your career with Classical Pilates. You don't have to hold an existing Fitness or exercise to music qualification as we provide everything you need to become a Level 3 Pilates Teacher.

Outline of the course:
Corpus Pilates Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Pilates Matwork which includes:
· Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise
· Know how to support clients who take part in exercise and physical activity
· Health, safety and welfare in a fitness environment
· Principles of exercise, fitness and health
· Principles and Fundamentals of Mat Pilates : including pre-Pilates exercises , beginnings and endings
- Plan and prepare to instruct a progressive mat Pilates session: including classical exercises, power circles, small weights, accessories such as swiss ball and roller
- Instruct, Manage, Adapt and Evaluate a mat Pilates session: including contraindications and guidance for special populations.
Prior to practical assessment /theory examinations Learners will need to submit evidence of:
· Completed Active IQ worksheets from on-line learning
· Take home Pilates Theory exam
· 30 hours Matwork personal practice sessions
· 15 observation hours
· 30 student teaching hours
· 6 week lesson plans for group and individual live case study
Prerequisites
Experience the Classical Difference 1 day workshop (£90).
Minimum 15 hours logged Classical Pilates personal practice before full course starts.
