Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Educator - RORO

The course follows 4 key themes from which a range of mandatory and optional units are derived. The key themes being: Theme 1: Health and well-being Theme 2: Legislation, frameworks and professional practice Theme 3: Play, development and learning for school readiness Theme 4: Professional development Learners must achieve: 23 mandatory units Credit Value: 61 To gain the qualification, learners will be required to be assessed by a qualified assessor, and will be asked to produce a portfolio of evidence to show that they meet the required standard. Learners must be able to demonstrate their knowledge and practice. Attendance at college is on a part-time basis; learners are expected to attend at least 80% of the programme. Learners will be shown how to gather evidence to meet the Standards.Once you have enrolled onto the programme you will be assigned an assessor that will visit you in the workplace regularly. They will complete assessment plans and reviews with you to keep you on target. They will support you in the collection of the required evidence needed for your qualification through different assessment methods such as; professional discussion, observations, written questions, verbal questions, witness statements and any assignments.
