Course programme

This course is suitable for students progressing from the Level 2 Hairdressing course and will help you to advance your skills, creative techniques and career opportunities in the hairdressing industry.
You will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Women's Hairdressing.
If you are attending English and Mathematics classes you will also achieve Functional Skills/GCSE qualifications.
Throughout the course you will be assessed regularly against the standards set down by the examining body. These assessments will be pre-arranged and will be as unobtrusive as possible - these will be practical observation elements. You will build a portfolio of evidence, which will include assignments, photographic evidence and throughout the year complete online exams.
