You will study advanced techniques to develop and enhance your creative hairdressing skills, including creatively cutting hair, colour correction and creative styling skills. About this course
The course is full time over one year – the exact days and times depend on the timetable but you can expect to attend for a minimum of 15 hours a week. A minimum of 90% attendance must be achieved in order to ensure success on your course.

Course programme
You will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Women's Hairdressing.
If you are attending English and Mathematics classes you will also achieve Functional Skills/GCSE qualifications.
Throughout the course you will be assessed regularly against the standards set down by the examining body. These assessments will be pre-arranged and will be as unobtrusive as possible - these will be practical observation elements. You will build a portfolio of evidence, which will include assignments, photographic evidence and throughout the year complete online exams.
