Level 3 Hairdressing Diploma Entry Requirements

• Hairdressing Diploma/ NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing with a satisfactory reference and equivalent literacy and preferably numeracy OR
• A relevant equivalent Level 2 qualification with equivalent literacy and preferably numeracy.

Entry is subject to a successful interview and tutor reference. You will need to buy a salon uniform and equipment.

Content If you are an experienced hairdresser and want to develop your practical and creative skills to a high standard, this course is for you. You will learn cutting and styling techniques, colouring, creative hair design, how to contribute to running a business and how to provide hairdressing consultation services. As part of your studies you may be able to take an additional qualification. Progression
You can progress onto employment in the hairdressing industry, such as working in a salon, setting up your own salon, working on a cruise liner or as a manufacturer's technical/demonstrator.
