Description:
A qualification which recognises the skills, knowledge and competence of an individual to plan, deliver and evaluate safe, effective and progressive exercise programmes personalised to individual clients and manage their personal training business effectively. Modules studied: exercise and fitness knowledge; gym; circuit training; fitness training for older adults; fitness assessment and exercise counselling; walking; nutrition and weight management; marketing and fitness finance. (Modules can be accredited from previous awards).

Fitness instructor certificate. Employed as a personal trainer but without qualification.
