The Level 5 qualifications in Management and Leadership are designed for practising middle managers who wish to develop their core management skills and practises. These qualifications focus on the personal development of the individual learner's management capabilities and competencies.

Award:
The Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership is a concise qualification which enables you to strengthen and develop your middle management knowledge through focusing on specific management areas which are appropriate to your personal and organisational development.

To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Award in Management and Leadership, you need to successfully complete at least one unit from Groups A-C to a minimum of 6 credits.

The Award can take as little as 2 to 3 weeks

Certificate:
The Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership is a more extensive qualification enabling you to focus on broadening your middle management knowledge and skills whilst still maintaining the flexibility to focus on the specific management areas appropriate to you and your workplace.

To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Certificate in Management and Leadership, you need to successfully complete any combination of units from Groups A-C to a minimum of 13 credits.

The Certificate can take between 1 to 3 months

Diploma:
The Diploma in Management and Leadership is a comprehensive qualification providing you with the key management skills to enable you to operate effectively as a middle manager. It allows you to develop a range of competencies from operational management principles and practises to the development of resource control and use. The Diploma in Management & Leadership is recognised by the Chartered Management Institute as the benchmark qualification for full membership of the Institute and enables you to progress towards Chartered Manager status.

To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Diploma in Management and Leadership, you need to successfully complete all core units from Group A, at least one core unit from Group B and three optional units from Group C to a minimum total of 62 credits.

The Diploma can take between 6 to 12 months.
