What will I be doing?
Learners will apply knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, concepts and techniques to familiar and unfamiliar situations. They will interpret and analyse accounting information in an appropriate format. Evaluate accounting information, taking into consideration internal and external factors to make reasoned judgements, decisions and recommendations, and assess alternative courses of action using an appropriate form and style of writing.

How will I be assessed?
Learners will be assessed by the use of regular homework, class test and a formal end of unit written exam set by the exam board in January and June.

Where can I go after completing this course?
After the successful completion of the course you will be able to progress on to University to study a course of your choice or take up employment within various businesses and financial services industry, where there are a wide range of opportunities.
