The programme follows two pathways of learning, covering both vocational and independent living Subjects are selected from a wide range, taking into account the student's personal needs and wishes They will study subjects such as healthy living, animal care, art & craft and independent living skills in our Life Skills flat
How will I be assessed?Through a programme of observations and the creation of a small portfolio of assignments
What may it lead to?This course is designed to allow progression onto Entry Level 2 courses
Entry RequirementsThere are no formal entry requirements; however you will be assessed in order to identify your support needs (this will take place during your transition to College)
Additional Information & Other CostsThis course is normally free for students under 19 years old and may also be free for those in receipt of government benefits There will be supported work experience opportunities on the College campus
