This LLB (Hons) covers the key pillars of legal knowledge, so if you're looking to kick off your career as a legal professional - look no further.
Arden University offer this Law Degree via Blended Learning, which means you spend 2 days a week in lectures at one of our study centres in either London, Manchester or Birmingham, and then study online the remainder of the time, utilising our online study portal, iLearn.
With this course you will delve into the fundamentals of English Law and EU legal system. And each module will develop your knowledge of Law and build the skills needed to pursue your chosen legal career.
Please note: the academic route training requirements for qualifying as a solicitor are changing.
The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) have announced that, from autumn 2021, upon completion of a degree, those looking to become solicitors will be required to sit and pass two SQE exams, and complete a two-year period of qualifying work experience.
Arden’s LLB (Hons) with Qualifying Status will continue to be accepted as enrolment onto the professional stage of both barristers’ and solicitors’ training.

This Blended Learning LLB (Hons) has standard entry requirements. To be eligible for this course at Arden University you must have either:
Two subjects at GCE A-Level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent; OR
Have completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent
If your prior learning was not taught in English we require IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element).

During the first 6 weeks of year 1 (Block 1) you will also attend 4 study skills workshops, providing advice and guidance to help you achieve university success. Sessions may include Reading & Note-Taking, iLearn Online Library, Referencing & Plagiarism and Approaching Assignments. This will bring your weekly class time up to 9.5 house a week for Block 1.
