Course programme
You will study two modules per semester so as to ensure you get a firm grounding in the key legal areas. There are two main Semesters per academic year for this i-LLB. Each semester is 15 weeks long, 12 weeks tuition, one week consolidation/revision and two weeks to complete the assessments.

1st Semester:
- Law of Contract

2nd Semester:
- Criminal Law
- Law of Organisations
Year 3
1st Semester:
- Land Law
- Actions
2nd Semester:
- You study two options* at level 5. Over the summer you complete an extended essay which is also at level 5.
Year 4
1st Semester:
- Equity & Trusts
- Transactions
2nd Semester:
- Wills & Succession
- Companies: Governance, Tax and Insolvency
- Over the summer you study Criminal Litigation and Evidence

Assessment is spread out over the four years of the course. At the end of each semester you’ll have one revision week and two weeks to complete assessments. A range of assessment methods are used. Some will be by examination, some by coursework (essay, project report or portfolio) and some by way of oral presentation done online. Overseas students will be able to sit examinations at recognised venues (eg British Council premises).
The i-LLB, taught 100% online, has the same learning outcomes and assessments as our other LLB courses and is also a Qualifying Law Degree.
