About this course

You’ll discover wide-ranging career opportunities in the logistics and supply chain sectors at local, regional, national and international levels. The industry provides exciting openings for well-qualified managers. Our former students have made rapid progress up the career ladder. Some now specialise in areas such as retail logistics or rail logistics, while others have taken on wider roles in production management.

GCSE Maths and English are preferred, however if you don't have these qualifications you will be able to undertake Maths and English at L2 as part of your course of study.

What you will study

Foundation year

You will study modules such as:
  • Business Communication and Decision Making
  • Contemporary Issues in Business
  • Data Analysis for Business
  • Study skills for Business
And you will choose two options from:
  • Law
  • Sociology
  • Political Studies
  • Fundamentals of Human Behaviour
If you don’t have either English or Maths GCSE, you will need to substitute one or two of the above for a module in English and/or Maths.

Stage one

You'll study modules such as:

  • Understanding People in Organisations

Stage two

  • Work Based Development
You can choose to take an optional placement year between stages two and three.
