About this course

The sessions are designed to be interactive, utilising a variety of teaching and learning strategies such as mini-lectures, seminar discussions and ‘hands on’ practical activities relating to language learning and teaching.

You will have the opportunity to apply theory in practice through a micro teaching session. In order to understand the needs of a diverse range of students, a case study approach is employed.

Students who have successfully completed this pathway have gone on to support EAL pupils in primary school, teach Modern Foreign Languages and teach English abroad.
