Maintaining a Lotus Domino Infrastructure and Lotus Domino Users

Aims and Objectives
Evaluate current Lotus Domino infrastructure for changes to facilitate maintenance.
Modify Domino user characteristics.
Perform common server maintenance troubleshooting tasks.
Create new Domino users.
Maintain existing Lotus Domino servers, databases
and networks using available administration tools.
Monitor existing Lotus Domino servers.

Target Audiences
This course is intended for new Lotus Domino administrators who are responsible for maintaining existing Lotus Domino R5 servers.

Prerequisites
Delegates should have a basic understanding of network technologies. industry standard protocols (e.g. TCP/IP) and concepts. Database and messaging administration experience is recommended (e.g. SMTP). Delegates should also have e-mail experience and should be able to review the Lotus Notes client guided tour (provided with Lotus Notes R5 client) and should have attended the Moving to Lotus Mail course.
