About the course
Do you work in an engineering installation role? If so, City College Plymouth offers the opportunity to complete the NVQ in Maintenance and Installation Engineering. This nationally recognised level 2 engineering training is ideal if you wish to gain recognition of your competence in a wide variety of engineering maintenance and installation activities. All assessment is undertaken in your workplace and is flexible to suit the needs of you and your employer. Your work situation will be required to provide the opportunity to be involved in a range of engineering maintenance and installation activities. You will choose a pathway relevant to your job role, specialising in one of the following: mechanical, electrical, electronic, fluid power, services, communication electronics, stairlifts, service lifts, equipment installation or installing/servicing lifting platforms.
