- Adapting a pattern to your own design
- Hand stitching
- Applying metal fittings
- Marking up, cutting out and edge-finishing leather.

You will be taught by a mixture of demonstration and practise, with some individual support from the tutor. You may continue to work on your project outside class hours if you wish. Basic materials to make a small A5 sized handbag and tools are supplied. You may wish to purchase your own leather and fittings if you require more choice.
