About this course

You will learn how to cut a pattern, sew a garment together, put in a zip and work a button hole. You will also learn how to fit the garment and modify the pattern

The course is intended for anyone who wishes to increase their sewing knowledge and gain the skills needed to make a garment at this level

Our tutors have over 30 years experience in a wide variety of sewing subjects so you are gaining a breadth of knowledge by an industry expert

On our Textiles bring along lovely fabrics, scraps of lace, old buttons etc and turn them into gorgeous gifts, from lavender bags, pinnies, bunting, covered hangers, corsages, pincushions, pj cases and many other ideas, the choice is yours, make as many or as few items as you can fit into the day
