Entry Requirements:
We would require a pre-course interview to discuss the course and to establish that this level is suitable for the candidate. Also, that the candidate has the ability to demonstrate competence in working practices within their work role. There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.

Course Delivery:

In order to gain the CMI Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management, candidates will need to complete all mandatory units to a credit value of 23.

  • Develop and evaluate operational plans for own area of responsibility (6)
  • Provide leadership and direction for own area of responsibility (5)
  • Plan change in own area of responsibility (6)
  • Work Productively with colleagues and stakeholders (6)

They will also be required to complete optional units to a minimum credit value of 15 from a range of titles, including those from the list below:

  • Develop collaborative relationships with other organisations (7)
  • Manage health and safety across an organisation (6)
  • Monitor and review business processes (3)

Additional information

Additional Information: The Faculty is represented by tutors who have all previously worked at management levels within industry. They are qualified in management principles and between them cover all major business management and marketing fields. The team members are also qualified teachers who, between them, have over 35 years experience of teaching and training. The team currently work with a wide variety of organisations providing management training to the public, private and third sectors.
