This 2 day management training program (derived from the ILM Level 3 management programme) is designed to give new and existing managers (recently promoted or no formal training) the underpinning knowledge and skills to be exceptional team managers. The course focuses on exceptional leadership skills, managing staff, reporting back, delegation and how to motivate their teams to achieve results.

Module 1 - Self Management (Day 1 am)
Module 2 - Practical Leadership (Day 1 pm)
Module 3 - Managing Others (Day 2 am)
Module 4 - Assertiveness (Day 2 pm)
Self Management -
Will focus on developing and enhancing their management styles, and will cover:
- Time Management
- Prioritising
- Delegation
- Self Awareness
Practical Leadership –
Will provide practical ways in which to manage the day to day processes and procedures and includes:
- Defining your role
- Defining you and others expectations
- Leading through change
- Managing day 2 day situations.
Managing Others –
This module will provide the skills required to effectively manage staff, and will discuss:
- Setting standards
- Getting the best out of others
- Effective communication techniques - staff and line managers
- Objective and target setting
Assertiveness Training -
This is designed to support the management of staff; it also will reinforce leadership skills and maintains your self management techniques.
