Our strong profile of leading tourism scholars cover core topics in the industry, which include destination management, development, tourism economics, governance and strategy, successfully combining sector knowledge with general business applications.
The course blends together theory and practical activity so our students develop the necessary transferable skills to be able to effectively research, analyse and evaluate big data, plan and execute practical activities/fieldwork using appropriate techniques, manage budgets, and challenge previously held assumptions within one of the largest and fastest growing industries in the world.

Students must attain a 2:2 (or overseas equivalent) in an undergraduate degree. Any degree subject will be considered. We consider all applications on their merits and will look at each individual case before making an offer so students who fall slightly short of the entry criteria should still apply to the School of Management.. Non-native English speakers must achieve an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5. A list of equivalent tests are provided here her details can be found here.
