Course review:

General managers as well as seuirty and loss prevention managers are often required to direct or conduct internal investigations within their company. The nature of the investigation whether criminal, disciplinary, or regulatory, requires that the investigator be equipped with a range of knowledge and skills. These include case planning, the investigatin process, gathering and handling evidence, the management of the investigation, overt and covert techniques (incuding CCTV), and legal issues, report writing, and learning from incidents.
