MANAGING ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES Student Profile This programme is designed for people who wish to gain an understanding of environmental resource management and its benefits for business. No prior knowledge is required. Objectives At the end of the course you will be able to:

Accreditation The course leads to a Level in Diploma in Managing Environmental Resources from Open College Network (OCN) which is licensed by National Open College Network (NOCN), a leading UK awarding body recognised by the UK Qualifications and Curriculum Authority and carries 6 learning credits. UK Open Learning is a registered centre with Open College Network North West Region. OCNNWR is licensed with the National Open College Network which is approved as an awarding body with the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). Study method The course is designed for study by distance learning at work or at home. Students receive course manual, assignments and studyguide plus tutor support by mail and email. You can start at any time and plan your studies over a period of up to one year from the time of registration. Assessment Each element is followed by a written assignment, which is submitted and marked by your tutor. There is no external examination required. There is no word count for these assignments however you do have to prove to the tutor that you have fully understood the question asked. One sentence answers will be rejected and you will be asked to re-submit it again. Course Duration Students may register at any time and have a full year to complete their studies.
