Target Audience
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to use the Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 enterprise tool. It is intended for project managers, program managers, members of the project management office, or participants in the deployment of an EPM solution.

Pre-Requisites
Before attending this course, students must have the following pre-requisites:Fundamental knowledge of project management.Experience using Microsoft Office Project and Microsoft Office Project Server.Experience with the Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista operating system.Experience using Microsoft Office Project Web Access.Familiarity with the key project management concepts and terminology found in the PMI PMBOK Guide.It is recommended, but not essential, that students have completed Courses 5927 and 5928.

Purpose
After completing the course, students will be able to define project, program, and portfolio management in an enterprise environment; describe the architecture and components of the Microsoft Office Enterprise Project Management Solution; define a standardized methodology for program governance; update an enterprise environment; deliver the detailed plan of a program and establish a program baseline; define program resources; track the program resources and the task progress of the program; define Earned Value Management (EVM); use Project Center and the Data Analysis (OLAP Cube) feature; configure project workspaces; describe the closing process; propose changes to the enterprise environment based on lessons learned through a program life cycle.
