Managing Violence & Aggression In The Workplace (Adults) Theory and Breakaway Techniques

This one day course is designed for individuals who work directly with adults within care environments who have the potential to display aspects of behaviour which challenge the service.

Topics covered include: Legal issues, defining challenging behaviour, understanding warning signs and triggers, de-escalation techniques, verbal and non verbal communication.

A practical demonstration of the skills and understanding necessary to undertake a range of Breakaway Techniques, designed to defuse, not aggravate potentially difficult situations.
