Manchester Secretarial is the North West's most respected audio transcription provider for professionals, businesses and researchers. We began in the training industry because however experienced our transcribers were when they came to us, we found they needed some training to bring them into line with our very high standards. We have trained transcriptionists online in this way for over a decade. So we decided to then offer our training to those outside of our company hoping to learn top class transcription skills and to work from home, whether for a transcription company or to source their own customers. Everyone who has trained with us has found work immediately, with our help, through our add-on segment on finding work.
Our course compares extremely favourably in course content, comprehensiveness and also price, with other courses on offer, particularly those offered by academics with no experience of the transcription industry, such as the OCR & RSA courses and also the Pitman course in transcription, which on close examination is actually not a transcription course, but rather an audio typing course. Uniquely, our course provides its students with all of the skills they will ever need to launch themselves in the transcription industry and even to start their own business if they so wish.
The course consists of three levels, but not everyone needs to go through all three levels. What we usually do is assess a candidate´s skills and then pick and mix from the three levels which parts of the course they need.
