The aim of this course is to give candidates an understanding of the manual handling regulations and the ability to recognise, assess and lift safely heavy and/or awkward loads.

Once individuals are trained to recognise the risks and dangers associated with unsafe manual handling, accidents involving manual handling can be reduced substantially with in the work place especially if it is part of an effective Health & Safety plan.

This ½ day course involves both theory and practical sessions and is designed to give delegates the knowledge, skills and ability to carry out safe manual handling within the workplace and reduce the amount of work related illness associated with manual handling accidents.
