Course programme

Classes are held after hours with lectures and tutorials held at the University, combined with ムhands onメ workshops at the Art Gallery.
Students complete one of the following core courses: Studies in Asian Art; Studies in Australian Art; European Art Since the Renaissance.
Students also choose three courses from the following: Studies in Australian Colonial Art; Studies in European Paintings Connoisseurship; Studies in Australian Indigenous Art; Studies in Japanese Art; Studies in British Art; Studies in Modern Art; Studies in Contemporary Art; Studies in South East Asian Art; Studies in Decorative Arts.
Please note: students can study another core course as an elective.
Not all courses are offered each year.
As well as completing 4 courses from the above, students also need to undertake a dissertation in Art History and two courses in Curatorial and Museum Studies, where they will complete self-initiated research projects, including a 20-day internship.
