Course programme

Many of our staff have first-hand experience of applying mathematical principles to practical problems, and the programme has an particular focus on the applications of mathematics. This programme has the same academic content as the BSc Mathematics and its Applications with an additional sandwich year spent at an overseas university.

Year one

In the first year, you can choose to study only mathematics modules or you may choose up to 20 credits from another discipline.
