Course programme

1) Improve upon your C Grade – Higher Tier Some AS Level courses at college require you to have better than a C grade at GCSE Maths (e.g. AS Level in Sciences). Indeed, some courses at university want you to have better than a C grade at GCSE Maths. (Medicine and veterinary sciences are two examples). In this course you will study the Higher syllabus from GCSE in which it is possible to achieve up to an A* grade. In this course you will study more algebra and trigonometry than at the Foundation tier. 2) Improve upon your D Grade (and try to get a C, or better) – Foundation Tier You will study the Foundation tier GCSE. This course is for students who currently have a D grade, and wish to work hard enough to gain a C in one year. Note: If you wish to improve upon your E grade, then you should do Functional Skills Maths. You will then progress towards GCSE during your time at college.
