  • I chose a career in law because I wanted to help individuals against the weight of the State and I wanted a career that had everything: exiting, challenging, awarding. And working as a criminal defence lawyer has all of the above and more. I chose the University of Law and Business School for three reasons: first was the location, you are right in the centre of London, and that was really important to me, because I used to do a lot of probono activities and so I need to get to places quite quickly after the classes. Also, the probono service. I was really impressed by the fact that they had such a big probono department with so many opportunities and I could get essentially all my work experience within the four walls of the university. And lastly it was the reputation, I was going to be investing a lot of time and money in my postgraduate education and I wanted to go to somewhere that would actually teach me well. And at the end of one of the open days I knew that the University of Law was where I wanted to be. I definitely recommend it! Here you will get all the knowledge and training you need with the best teacher at the best facilities with the best people.
