This 30 hour course is designed to give students both the theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience of diesel engines. It will enable students to carry out regular servicing of marine diesel engines, and to carry out fault detection and prevention. This course meets the requirements of the MCA Codes of Practice for the Safety of Large Commercial Sailing and Motor Vessels, the Safety of Small Commercial Motor Vessels and the Safety of Small Workboats and Pilot Boats.

Course Outline - This 30 hour course is designed to give students both the theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience of diesel engines. It will enable students to carry out regular servicing of marine diesel engines, and to carry out fault detection and prevention. We run this course with limited numbers to allow everyone as much quality time with the instructor and different engine components as possible.
